What size is your congregation...

Our Congregation average is about 80. I grew up in this church.

The average attendance is maybe 10 or 12. We had a big crowd of maybe 18 today. We were drawn by the worship and probably would have stayed it there had been 100 or 4. Once we get bigger than about 200 hundred we will start a new mission.

Average around 60. I grew up in this church. About 10 years ago we only average about 10. So we have been blessed.

i've been to this church since high school, not a decision i made, but by my parent. (well, ultimately a decision made by God isn't it?) congregation size has grown to about 110, excluding the 100 or so from primary to university students that attend the english service.

My church family is about 125 and growing. I love my church family.

about 900. If anything the size almost made us decide not to go there, but its actually not too bad. I always see people there I know, but its like one person who was promoting small groups said today, the church is so large they went to it for six months before they also knew their next door neighbor also did. Its the only church in the area with a more contemporary service, and we travel about 45 minutes to get there. The way its not a super fancy dressing church is also a big plus to us.

We're running at about 500-600. Which has grown from 150-200 just four years ago.

we have about 35 who come regularly, I love it because we are close, we have dinners, pizza parties, barbeques. I do go to a womans bible study at a different bigger church once a week, I would not reg attend a huge church

and did the number of people play any part in your decision to join your church?

Well, we have about 130 in worship each Sunday. We started with 8 in the summer of 2002, when the PCA, as ordained by God, started our Church plant.

We started worship last February, and have had staedy growth ever since. We will cast off the title "church" plant this coming spring and become "particularized."


Our decision to join was based on God's will to plant a PCA church in our city. How could we resist?

As long as sound Biblical doctrine is being taught and lived then I do not think church size matters much.

20 would be a good round number on average. I've been to services that were it was just the priest and two others. I go because God is there.

We go through seasons so it is fairly hard to say average. But the average tends to be around 20.

It wasn't the size that made me decide to go there though. It does make it easier to feel as though I belong (because if there is only that many names it is easier to remember). We are actually located in the basement of the local legion so untill you actually walk in there, it is hard to even tell its a church. But it is the one I feel most comfortable in as well as most able to to learn.

It's over 400 in my church. I have been going for my whole life. I can remeber when it was 100 or so, We've planted a church and gone through huge growth.

In our church there is about 600 members
We went to that church because that churches strong field is prayer and God hears us and answers.
