  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

What show cracks you up everytime you watch it?

When the first episode aired I didn't think The West Wing would be funny but some of those comebacks and one-liners are just classic! I can't watch any of the first 4 seasons without spending a lot of time laughing, getting excited, or crying. It's great!

The Newlyweds

I've actually caught a few of these. I agree. I think they are one of the funniest, down-to-earth couples I've ever seen. The camping episode with Jessica burping, her "blonde" moments (the tuna/chicken confusion), the guys scaring the pants off the girls in the woods, Nick trying to snow-ski for the first time, etc, etc, etc.

My husband & I ALWAYS crack up at Nick trying to do "man stuff" around the house so he doesn't have to hire anyone!! Like: Moving in the furniture with his makeshift ropes through the window??? Buying a little can of hornet spray at Home Depot for an OBVIOUS bee problem needing an exterminator??? The most recent - he bought a flimsy pool cover because he felt like heating their outdoor pool is TOO expensive. (It's so cute that he's frugal - very smart!).

However, the flimsy pool cover blew right off when he went in the house. ^_^
