What should we do if a person is about to cheat our friend?

Continuing the previous message, if we can’t give bad report about anyone, how to help our friend see through the ruse of this person that thinks on conning him?

• “The LORD is my portion, says my soul; therefore will I hope in him. The LORD is good unto them that wait for him, to the soul that seeks him.” (Lamentations 3.24,25).

Many times, our faith in the power of the Ha-Satan is bigger than in Christ. Instead of we set our friend against the swindler, let’s set ourselves about knowing the Holy Scripture and the power of Jesus available for us (Luke 12.24).

Many times, we have more hatred for the evil than love for the good. If, indeed, Jesus is who He said to be, instead of getting us free of the sinner, we must take hold of the affluence of the grace of Jesus and reign with Him:

• “For if by one man's offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.)” (Romans 5.17).

Don’t waste your time speaking about the turpitude that take hold of all heart (this isn’t novelty, seeing that only Jesus is good – Matthew 19.17; Mark 10.18; Luke 18.19). Jesus didn’t free us from the power of darkness and has translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son (Colossians 1.13) lest we got smitten by the evil, but so that where sin abounded, Jesus' grace was much more abound (Romans 5.20).

In a world that lies in wickedness (1John 5.19), it’s obvious that there is none righteous, no, not one. There is none that understands, there is none that seeks after God. After all, everyone gone out of the way and together become useless. In this case:

• there is none that does good, no, not one;
• their throat is an open tomb; with their tongues they have used deceit;
• the poison of asps is under their lips, whose mouth is full of cursing and bitterness;
• their feet are swift to shed blood;
• destruction and misery are in their ways and the way of peace have they not known;
• there is no fear of God before their eyes (Romans 3.9-18).

Nonetheless, they that are with us from Christ are more than they that are with the wicked (see 2Kings 6.16). Besides, the earth is the LORD's, and the fullness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein (Psalms 24.1) and all battle is the LORD's (1Samuel 17.47). Therefore, He will give the victory to them that seek Him and wait for Him.

So, dwell in the secret place of the most High, abide under the shadow of the Almighty (Psalms 91.1) and don’t worry about the enemies trying to set on you:

• they shall come out against you one way, and flee before you seven ways. (Deuteronomy 28.7).
• A thousand shall fall at your side, and ten thousand at your right hand; but it shall not come nigh you. (Psalms 91.7).

Have a powerful day in Christ Jesus trusting in the power of Jesus working inside you (Ephesians 3.20).
