What should I do?

What should I do when i keep sinning against God over and over again?
what should i do when i go back to the same sins?
What should i do if i'm starting to feel faithless?
What should i do if i feel like i'm not saved or my sins aren't forgiven because of lack of faith?

I'm tired of sinning and being faithless while telling people that i'm a Christian. Sometimes i feel broken, crashed and destroyed.

I really really want to have faith, how do i get it?
I want to be a real Christian.

I have many doubts and I'm a sinner.
I don't want to this live way anymore.


Does anyone have any advice?

If you are a young guy then the recurring 'sins' are probably sexual. Unfortunately, there is often some pretty negative information from Christians about our basic sexuality which ends up loading single people with more guilt than they need. You will see on the Struggles with Sexuality section several posts where you will find other Christians facing the same issues.

It's not a matter of lack of faith either. Put that to rest. the issues are far more complex than being reduced to one simplistic solution.

Remember too God understands your heart, your intent, and what you are facing,. He is 100% with you, not lining up arrows of fiery judgement to hurl at you someday.

First stop the guilt. that is a tool of the devil to make you feel worthless and not wanted by god. pray to god and concentrate on one sin at a time to stop. find verses on temptation and meditate on them. Once you start feeling convicted about each sin the holy spirit is working in you. You or me can't ever stop sinning on our own. we need the holy spirit to stop. God loves you and has great things for you. It takes out whole lives to change as it is a journey God has us on. god bless you.

Thanks to all of you for your help, I really appreciate it.

What I want to do right now, Is Ask God for mercy and to seek to be at peace with him even if it takes my whole life.

I hope that my faith can be strenghtened and for me to submit into his will.
