What should I do?

Hi Folks,

Am at somewhat of a crossroads in my life.  Have a good opportunity to go into business with an Uncle, or mebbe totally ditch that idea and go full time study for ministry. I'm wondering should I work for a while first to secure myself financially, or trust in God that our needs will be met.  Anyone have a word?

PS:  Me going into ministry now is financially possible.

I would say if you're unsure about what you should do. Then pray about it, and ask God to show you what it is he wants you to do. I will also pray that he does this.

Trust in the Lord, ask him for guidance. God gave you a sound mind, and he wants you to make sound decisions for yourself. Remember to always put God first, keep your business honest, and you will succeed. God Bless

Seek God, and he will give you the answer about what you should do. And when He gives you the answer you will feel a peace that comes from God himself and you will have no doubts about it. Of course once I get that answer from God and feel that peace it actually moves to me tears. I'll be praying for you.

I agree with the others that you should pray and seek God's will.  If you feel very strongly called to minister, then that will be your answer.  If not, then maybe you should do the business first.

If you are worried about finances...as in having a nest egg for the future...but still feel very called, then I'd say God is pulling you toward the ministery.  He does provide for our needs.

Hard one for me to "give advice", as I'm not inside your head.  I will pray for you.

Definitely pray some more. God is the One who should be telling you what to do with your life, not us! We're happy to listen, though.
