The second coming of the Lord Jesus is something that is rarely preached in churches this days!
Modernity, denominational attachments and church commitment has swallowed up the pilgrim mind!
Recent happenings world over in Economy, Crime, Politics and senseless killings of the Innocent masses are no longer news!
The average lives of people does not worth anything any More. Even animals do not kill themselves for nothing as human does! We have gotten used to bad news in the world that it doesn't shake us any more.
Is it not time to think of where we are going to spend eternity as believers?
It looks like the Angels of death in the book of Revelation have started releasing their vials and plagues of death on the third part of the earth one after another!
The Master, our Saviour promised us that we shall be changed in a twinkling of an eye! We shall be with Him in the air for a thousand years! Hallelujah.
What shall we be doing there?

... However, when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on the earth?” (Luke 18:8b, 1984 NIV)

Most people are living their lives trying to ease the pain they have, which comes from just about everything around them (the news [which paints a false picture of life], being rejected by someone regarding just about anything). One way people find comfort is to go to church. The Lord understand how much pain we are in. The coming of the Lord could be preached more, and can be put in a positive, comforting light, but it would just cause fear for many people. Without faith, a person is held in slavery by their fear of death. (Hebrews 2:15b, 1984 NIV)

There are many places in the world where the suffering and injustice is such that those who have entrusted themselves to Christ believe they are already experiencing end times suffering (and have been for decades).

Great!
If we all begin to live like Jesus, showing love in our environment to those we have grace to come in contact with,
If everywhere we go, we are doing good like when He was physically here, if we refuse to live to please ourselves, but manifest as sons of God wherever we find ourselves;
We begin to have admirers who want to be like us and our lights begins to shine....then we are getting ready for heaven.

Heh, so true. Until "we all" are living like Jesus, I suggest each of us examine what is really in our hearts. Is to love the Lord with all our being and all we have? If not, ask him to make it so, or at least to move it in that direction and to give you more faith in him. If it already is, just do your best in your devotion to the person who is love, Jesus, our living Lord who is with us, sees all, knows all, to whom you can talk, and then he will accomplish all he wants. If you're on this track, he will also be the Jesus who shows himself to you to encourage you to trust that he knows exactly what he is doing.

Whoever has my commands and obeys them, he is the one who loves me. He who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I too will love him and show myself to him.” (John 14:21, 1984 NIV)
