I was reading a discussion between GM and Lisa in the CCC fellowship thread. The discussion raises some concerns and points which brought others to my mind.
Mainly this can be put into the form of a few quesitons that maybe we can all discuss and consider.
1) What would the outsider expect to see from us, and what curiosities would draw them here to us, just to check us out?
2) Would they be pleasantly surprised when they came here to read?
3) How can we put doctrines across in way that is strong and decisive, and yet from a standpoint of meekness (not weakness) and love?
IMHO the 2 things that should set us apart from the rest of this board are doctrine and spirit. I like this forum because i see both working here, and in time i believe we can develope this as a reputation to show people that 'conservative' is not the nasty thing it is repped to be, but rather the Godly tradition of doctrine and love handed down through Christ.
Both are good because God never changes, and both must be upheld i believe.
