What school do you go to?

I noticed in another thread that someone is transfering to a school that someone else went to... or something like that. So I was wondering, what school are you at/going to/graduated from? What division is it, and what sports are big?

I go to the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. It's a division three school, part of the WIAC conference(basically, the schools in the UW-system). Our football team plays mostly other state schools, but our soccer, baseball, and volleyball teams are real good and play teams from closer states, then teams from wherever in the NCAA tournament.

Edit: Oh yeah, this past year, our volleyball was D-3 National Champions. Rock on.

I go to William Jewell College in Kansas City, MO. It is a small, liberal-arts school that has a long history with the Southern Baptist Convention, though we have split with them starting this year (first time in like 156 years!). There are about 1500 students, most of which live off campus, due to space. We are an NAIA team, meaning we are the smallest of the smallest in sports.

I am a Resident Assistant, pres. of a ministry organization, e-mail devotion writer for our campus ministry teams, etc. It is a great college!

I'm starting at Lawrence University in about a month. Its in Wisconsin. We are Division 3. I don't know what specific sports are big. I know that I am swimming and the hockey team seems to be the team to be on.

the school is a small liberal arts school with a musical conservatory on campus and has roughly 1350 students, almost all of which live on campus. It is required unless you are married and/or have kids.

I go to the University of Texas (at Ausin) in Austin, TX. It's division I. Football is HUGE. Nothing else even compares. But all of the teams are decent. The school is large (understatement) about 54,000 students. Hook 'em.

After this past year, I imagine the Texas basketball program is starting to catch on. But it'll never replace football

Wypadek - You'll find that for pretty much any school in Wisconsin in the northern 2/3 of the state, hockey is the sport to play. Hockey is everything. (And rightfully so)

I go to Metropolitan State University, and I don't even know if they have any sports. I don't think so.

I'm transferring to LeTourneau University in Longview this fall. (I think I was the one Pope Gonzo was referring to in his first post!! :-D) Anyway, I'm very excited about it. It's a Christian tech school with 1500-2000 students, and it should be an awesome experience!

I lived in Green Bay for like 6 years! I went to Green Bay Christian School from kindergarten till 4th grade. I heard through the grape vine that they closed down though!

You know where Oneida Bingo and Casino is? I used to live right past it, coming from the city(well, you go, hang a right, hang a left, and hang another right... or something like that ).

I didn't realize there was a U of W in Green Bay, good grief, they're EVERYWHERE! Hehe, well, now I know there are people to ask about stuff in Wisconsin when I get up there!
