The light is wrong; there is a light source hidden behind the board or else she is holding a mirror.

She has a pencil in her hair.

She is wearing a very impractical dress for sketching in. It will get ruined.

She will get backache sitting like that. She needs an easel.

The subject appears to be Regency, but the style looks far more modern.

Being an analytical person (and an art fan), the first thing I thought was that it looks like a Magritte, or at least in his style. is it?

What I see in the painting is an attractive female artist who is sketching someone. Outside a window is a romantic couple.

Since that someone is in front of her and not in the painting, I imagine that she's sketching me. And since there is a hint of romance in the painting, perhaps I'm even posing for her nude.

I get the impression that she is creative, and she has intelligent, aware eyes.

My feeling is one of sexual and romantic attraction for her, since I like creative, intelligent women.

Also, the woman looks a bit tired. She should take a break; sitting like that can't be too comfortable.

My first thought is that there are no creepy alien spacecraft in the sky behind the woman. I recently saw the Ancient Aliens episode that focuses on Da Vinci and there are some strange backgrounds to some Renaissance paintings.
