I think that consistancy is also a good quality in leadership. When a leader changes the way the programs are often then what ever that program may be (i.e. Youth, Children's Church, etc..) will not grow. It tends to get confussing for those that attend.

I would say first and foremost, intentional care/concern for others. I'll be more specific and use the grandaddy of examples, Jesus.

Especially when he talks about love w/ the disciples. The Greek he uses is "agape" which means "sacrificial love." Note that disciples such as Peter say "fillial" love in Greek which is basically "love as brothers."

it is not about you the leader , but them , the flock , a condition of heart , an mindset , goal , direction
