You were the one who asked where those doctrines were found. I was simply clarifying for you that they are found in the D&C. It seems to me that you are more concerned with asking the questions than listening to the answers.

The harsh words you use are more suitable for an argument than a discussion.

FB: The purpose of the Book of Mormon was not to bring the sacred rites and ordinances to light, but to be another testiment of Christ. To bring to light that Christ lived and that his power and love is for all people. Within the Bible and the Book of Mormon is contained the fullness of the Gospel. Through the same channel of revelation that brought forth this Book was also the structure, and organization that was to be restored. With this organization, principles rights and ordinances would be restored and performed. These instructions were given line upon line and precept upon precept. They were brought to gether in a book called the Doctrine and Covenants. You want to know where baptisms for the dead is found in the Book of Mormon. It could have been in the records that the Book of Mormon was abridged from. But that was not the purpose of the Book of Mormon. The practice of being baptised for the dead had not been performed since ancient times, and was lost during the great apostasy. We do not need to have these truths in the Book of Mormon. These instructions are restored and given to us by revelation in the Doctrine and Covenants.

GEE WHIZ! YOU SHOULD BE PROPHET! Come on now. The only baptisms for the dead were and now are cultic pagan practices. The book of mormon does nothing to further the cause of Jesus. The d and c is just comical. Please tell me how many times ol' joey prophesied in there and they failed. This alone proves how silly his book of commandments was. Please, stop trying to refer to some "great apostasy" there never was one. There have always been true believers on the earth and this therefore rules out a full apostasy. The spirit of God has been here since Pentecost and for joey to say he needed to restore it is blasphemy toward Jesus and calling him impotent.
