What next-gen system are you getting?

I don't have an HDTV yet, so I'm going to go for a Wii. Plus, I'm going to have to start paying car insurance soon so my bank account is going to start shrinking

I'd love to have all three eventually, but if it comes down to it I'll probably go for whatever the next Silent Hill game comes out for (if it's exclusive). Even if it's a PS3, I'm going to wait for a price drop and for them to work out the bugs. But truth be told both the 360 and the PS3 have games I'd love to get my hands on. So it's still up in the air.

I already have an xbox360, been playing Call of Duty on it all day. It used to be true that there were more PC games, not anymore. I don't buy them now, either, but my computer's too old for the new ones.

One interesting thing about the PS3...Sony has already said they are going to be losing a ton of money off each system. (just like Microsoft did with both Xbox consoles) The bad thing is people haven't exactly been rushing to the store to pre-order. From what I can tell it has WAY less pre-orders than the Wii. (which sold out pre-orders in minutes across the country) And even less than the 360.

They are going to be making up the cost on games people buy...but if not enough people buy the system, that means not as many buying games and even more money loss. I think the PS3 is going to be a major money loss at first.

BUT...that's good for us. I predict that within the first year we will see a $100 drop in price tag and/or a core system that comes only with a game, a very small (if any at all) hard drive for $200 less. It would be the basic core system only.

That's my guess.

I'm getting a PS3.

First, I'm getting a Wii. Technically, I already own one. It's being held for me. I won a contest and get a Wii when the console releases.

Second, I plan to get an HDTV, then a 360. I've played Dead Rising on the 360, and discovered that you really need an HDTV to play it.

Third, I'll probably get a PS3 when it's a much more reasonable price and has some games that interest me.

The PS3 would probably be a better choice for me.. the Wii is a little overboard with the name and the controllers.. and Final Fantasy VII has a chance to be remade on PS3. Square-Enix isnt sure yet.. But I know they would because it would make the system sell a whole lot better and they'd make alot of money.
