Heavy metal and punk music.

lol Sorry couldn't resist. I couldn't quit them if I wanted to (which I don't). Not to judge or anything.
If you're still listening to rock, then Rush and Pink Floyd, and I would agree about Queen. And The Beatles, of course. If you're interested in indie, then Mumford & Sons is pretty sweet.

I suggest getting a Pandora account and then exploring the different musical genres out there until you find new stuff (new to you) that you like to listen to.

I like David Bowie, as well. I think he was actually a little before his time.

I recently quit listening to heavy metal and punk music. I sold all my albums and deleted songs on my ipod. I have bought some stuff by David Bowie, but am not sure what other music to listen to. Any suggestions?

find a genre that you like then find the christian bands/artists for it and be blesses by there music

Secular Rock Music sounds fine. But as a Christian how can one 'enjoy' satan being glorified and the Lord Jesus being blasphemed through most of the 'ROCK' genres.

Your post confuses me greatly. So you're saying most of these "Rock" and "Metal" genres are satanic?

How does secular rock/metal music glorify Satan? That is just common Christian Stereotype. Nothing true.

you have to admit some bands do worship Satan and bring that out in there music but i do agree most Christians focus more on the sound of the music and not the words which is very unchristian like
