In a perfect world, all those things are an imperitive. I dont believe we can all be expectant of all those wonderful qualities. But we can search for someone with most.
The important thing to remember, I think, is that over the years, the fundamental qualities to every relationship must become present. If not, the relationship is bound for the rocks.

I disagree. I don't see that one leads to the other. I know women who can make me smile, but are unable to get out of most situations.

I notice that "attractiveness" isn't on your list. Where does that fall, if at all?

First off - absolutely! I've met a couple Christian girls who were all 10 of those items AND a bag of chips!!! But sadly it was during a time of my life when I didn't know what true beauty was (nor true love for that matter)..

How many people truly truly truly mean what they say - or type? As dluvs2trvl can vouch - I am a member of another site that is a Christian "dating" site - and I have seen so much double speak and dishonesty - that my profile pretty much is there now for me to share God when He puts something on my heart.

It's pretty sad that on a Christian site the four girls I personally met all wanted to take the relationship to a very very physical level extremely quickly.

Let me reply for myself...yes I mean it.

I have dated my pretty boys who said they were Christians. I have dated pretty boys because they were pretty boys. All these guys had nothing in their hearts and nothing in the minds.

I am in love with an average good looking guy who is very rough around the edges on so many levels. BUT he loves God very much. Thus he is honest, loving, campassionate, mature, dignified, responsible, and so much more because he puts God first. As with everyone there is one flaw and that is he can't let go of the Navy. Military men are a different breed and it is very hard being in any relationship with them.

However, I digress, basically. If I put God first in finding a mate then everything I need and want is going to be taken care off.

What would you say if I put down one of my biggest desires in a man....you would call me ridiculous. With that being said I know that if I ask for a man who loves God first then God will probably bring me a man who loves football and opera as much as I do.

I saw the same thing, but then I'm not a man......

I've only dated one man since being divorced and he saw me as absolutely beautiful and I put it down to the qualities he loved in me affecting his eyesight ( I know - a confident woman is not meant to think that way but I am laughing so does that get me out of trouble )
