CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

- Good food and dark chocolate.
- Being admired by a really cute girl in person.
- Cool weather.
- The pleasant sound of rain, or the exciting thrill of an approaching thunderstorm.
- 90s nostalgia.
- Reminiscing of how awesome it was being a kid - i.e. getting through a week at school, then coming home early on Friday afternoons and playing with Legos, while anticipating the weekend. Also, I remember the corporate excitement of my friends and fellow classmates as we got closer and closer to Christmas, good times.
- My Pets.
- Spending time outdoors in nature, and enjoying my burn pit during frigid Winter nights.
- Designing things and enjoying hobbies / crafts, especially things made from nature like bows and arrows.
- Sport shooting.
- Spending time with family and friends (especially my nephew).

These are all great things!!Just a few I could think of.

What makes me smile? another smile We should all make an effort to give a smile to each person we meet, it will lift their spirits a bit and yours too! Whenever I walk up to someone, I try to give a greeting and a simple, sincere smile. It is amazing. gas station, fast food, library, where ever and when ever. try it

That's awesome you enjoy the outdoors and crafting things from nature as well.
I sometimes like to carve walking sticks and hair sticks and such. I absolutely love pine cones, so I often collect those that I (sometimes) use in crafts, though I oftentimes leave pine cones everywhere in my room and just call them decorations.
Almost every time I go for a walk I end up bringing home another pine cone. xD I also pick up other things too though, like acorns, acorn tops and flowers that I dry out. I made a broom even, so now my brothers tease me about being a witch. I collect a lot of rocks too and use them for different things. I love to make my own jewelry, though a lot of the stones I use for that I find at stores, though I would like to start making more jewelry from what I find out in nature myself!! I'd love to hear more about the things you make too! This almost deserves a thread of it's own!
