Where was it that the elect lived without mercy ? Mercy is what saved them according to titus :

Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;

So when was the elect without mercy ?

God has mercy on the elect because the fell in adam, but a Father instead of destroying Those He loves , when He sees them in a pitiful condition He has mercy on them.. Your point is mute again van..He only has mercy on the elect because they are in and have forever have been in union with His beloved Son...

lol you are so lost..all that is saying that in times past God left the nations to walk in their own ways the gentiles , but now He is calling out his elect from the nations..acts 15 gives light on that..

acts 15:


13And after they had held their peace, James answered, saying, Men and brethren, hearken unto me:
14Simeon hath declared how God at the first did visit the Gentiles, to take out of them a people for his name.
15And to this agree the words of the prophets; as it is written,
16After this I will return, and will build again the tabernacle of David, which is fallen down; and I will build again the ruins thereof, and I will set it up:
17That the residue of men might seek after the Lord, and all the Gentiles, upon whom my name is called, saith the Lord, who doeth all these things. 18Known unto God are all his works from the beginning of the world.

Those who he takes out of the world are the elect those who have been in christ before the world began..they were given grace in christ before the world began..

You have absolutely no spiritual understanding at all van lol

False election is salvation it guareentees the elect experience of it..

The elect are saved from eternity..

2 tim 1:

9Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began,

We were saved first by our election...then we are called to the obtaining of that salvation..

1 thess 5

For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ,

2 tim 2

Therefore I endure all things for the elect's sakes, that they may also obtain the salvation which is in Christ Jesus with eternal glory.

2 thess 2 14

Whereunto he called you by our gospel, to the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.

No election no salvation sorry..Election made the death of christ necessary..
