\o/ Woo Hoo \o/

It sounds like; an 'all-round upgrade' for, both of you
I also have a guitar [to 'strum' :p] and!!! 'artist' materials :D

I am here on Mary's PC for a while... that is, whilst my computer installs a 133 updates backlog

"Frustrating" ?
My 4 GB flash memory drive, 'decided' it would 'pass-away' today
ie: before I could update my Dell with those .net framework programs
and for a while, I thought 'my goose was cooked', until I could obtain another [?]
Anyway, I was able to obtain redistributable versions from Microsoft Downloads
and 'save them' to it's desktop before getting them installed
The Microsoft Update problem was eradicated
and I was astounded, to find so-many updates, were just waiting up-there, for download and installation

I continue to feel excessively blessed, with so much light, driving away the darkness

mmmmh.... Today, I am really HAPPY :)

After my PC rebooted, past the 133 updates, I got another notification from Microsoft
re: 12 further security updates being READY for installation.... Sheesh!!!!
When those were done, there were a further 13 [non critical] updates still, 'in the box',
for system hardware-driver updates

All but the DVD Drives done now \o/
'it works, as-new' :praise:

Restore Point saved \o/
Will do the Dell Visit on Monday

dave is a 'happy chappie'

:)

I switched it off to watch a TV film with Mary
and lo and behold it would not shut-down
~not until it had installed a further 21 updates

TRUE!!!
ie: 133 + 12 +13 + 21 ..... ? is a whole bunch of updates, to the original system

Unless you can download a redistributable version
~you are bound to install to the machine you wish to update
If, you don't update a rebooted system, prior-to visiting, Microsoft Update
you will find, yourself being denied any updates

As you instal a whole bunch of 'backdated updates', they create within your PC
files that inform the Update site, of the level of compliancy your updates have reached
and like a domino rally, they do creep out of the woodwork and fall upon your PC
like a hailstorm

When I started up the Dell this morning, there were three more updates flagged onscreen
It is 'only-fair' of Microsoft, to protect 'our investment' in their company [?]
Don't you agree ?

:)

WooT!!!

We have some 'buds' on our rose bushes, just sprouting out :)

Enjoy...I only have wild roses that bloom here; we are too wooded with a lot of clay.
Looking forward to your rose album....THAT makes me happy
My favorite flower fragrances are of roses, easter lilies, lilacs, and carnations

Mary and I took Teddy and Rusty to Heaton Park this afternoon [in the car]

We stayed about 90 minutes_ last night's rain, had made it very muddy
The back seat of the car has muddy paw prints all over it ~not to mention dog hairs

:)
