No worries, I have Mary 'looking-out' for me
She kept asking me if I were alright, each time that I rested
and later, she told me, that I 'looked tired'
so, I 'wrapped-up the job' ... until 'another-day' It can 'wait'
I have only ever 'heard' one owl, here ~it must have been 'passing-through'
Just the 'male' sings here, all night....
Maybe, to reassure his nesting spouse,
that he is 'watchful' and, on-hand / a territorial 'warning' to other males [perhaps]
Sounds like, you get to bed too early, to hear them
Some time online /lovely weather outdoors Temps at 26.C / 80.F
Far too-hot for working outdoors [Phewwww!!!]
otherwise, I was spoiled for choice
Decided to stay in the shade @ 24.C and begin another attempt ~to get my Dell 'up and running' again
still looking for dedicated fittings/ adaptors...
Now, where.... ? might I find those
An email from my son telling me what a good job I did in a short talk I gave over the weekend to a gathering of relatives. I am also grateful to the Lord for enabling me thus.
I love the current set up...on the front porch (a 4 season room/porch overlooking the lake); it is bright and airy with 12 (5 foot) crank out windows all around the room.
My canary is singing next to me, I can see hubby watching tv in the next room, and Penny lays between us (as opposed to me being in a small separate room with only 1 standard window).
The wireless feature is awesome ; the router and modem is on a stand next to hubby's recliner (he has a laptop)!
I am happy to be rid of the tangled mess
We are talking now of changing the PC room into a music/art room....hubby has guitars, a keyboard, and paint (artist) supplies; the printer and filing cabinet can stay in there too.
I will stay out here closer to nature and loved ones
