what line of work are you in?

Used to be a helicopter mechanic and crew chief in the Army.

I work now for a Civil Engineer as a land surveyor, construction site inspector, erosion control inspector and draftsman. And any other random job/task/position they want me to do really but those are plenty for me.

Teaching, and i enjoy it

I will just list some of the jobs that I have had in the past. My current agency I have been with for almost 20 years. I have had two different titles and five different home bases.

Since the age of 18 I have been active duty Army for 2 years 5 months as a truck driver. Then I went to college (majored in broadcast journalism and religious studies) and also did National Guard at the same time, driving 18 wheelers.

College was definitely my niche. My summer jobs in the 5 years that I was there was a book distribution center, a factory,... One Summer I held five jobs with no car and a bike to get around making a total of $600. My room and board was paid for and I was a tour ambassador for my University (chosen one of nine of the 120 applications that were sent out), during that summer I was a photojournalist for the newspaper (getting around was tricky without a car), the next summer I became an assistant camp director, and my last summer I spent as a jet ski instructor in Westport, New York at a water sports camp.

Later I was accepted into the Japan exchange teaching program. I stayed a total of 3 years teaching Junior high Japanese students English as a second language and found a niche there also. I stayed another year in Japan teaching English through AEON.
Came back to the States hoping to go active duty with the Air Force but things fell through. I decided to go with the agency that I am currently with and do Air Force reserves at the same time. In the Air Force reserves I was Finance first and later became a Chaplain Assistant. So this kind of explains why I have had 30 plus addresses. I have a pretty varied background.

My current position requires analysis and independent thinking. I am also kind of on an even playing field with my boss and boss's boss. I like that my ideas and contributions are recognized and thought about and can actually make an impact to local communities and a broader area of 13 counties. My position in prior years before coming to this position, I was so depressed and felt like my brain was rotting and I couldn't understand why so many things fell through and the Lord had me where he did. And although I would like to say I have some kind of answer now, I think some things we won't understand till we get to heaven.

The majority of the jobs that I listed before coming to my agency was just in my twenties. I came to my current agency at the age of 30.

I'm a writer for two different companies that provide web copy and blogs for their clients. My main job is writing service pages for some of the largest law firms in the country.

I work in software development.

That sounds fun. I can't say anyone has offered to pay me for all the chess I play. Although now that I think of it...there was a semester where I worked overnights in the computer lab, to help students who came in to use the computers...no one ever came in so I actually did get payed to play chess

I did model for a few years, but since I became Christian I stopped and it was not a great life for me anyway.
I wasn't for sure what I wanted to do, until last summer I worked with part of a church near home who help kids troubled, 17-24 usually, and it was an incredible experience I want to do that more.

I am a trained person of the Bundeswehr Military of Germany and I am not sure what my future is right now.

I'm a systems administrator. I keep the servers that host websites running.

Infection Prevention and Control in the health service, however training through work to become a Histopathologist.
