Read Revelation 1:6 for it says that we are kings and priests. Another thought, we are all preachers as we are all commanded to spread the giospel and if you notice that is not mentioned as a ministry gift. We are empowered by the Holy Spirit with other gifts so that we may preach the Word with power and authority and with signs following.

Revelations 1:6 is a greeting to men. I am a woman. But I will be part of the kingdom to come if I continue in Christ Jesus. I see the Kingdom as a literal place, many I know do not.

Matthew 23:8-9 "But you are not to be called 'Rabbi,' for you have only one Master and you are all brothers. And do not call anyone on earth 'father,' for you have one Father, and he is in heaven."

We do not all have the same gifts however and preaching the Word is not a gift given to all. Neither is evangalism. I think we make a mistake if we think that all are endwelled with the same spiritual gifts. If this were true we wouldn't make up the whole body and would be rather lopsided.

I agree that we are not all endowed with the same gifts nor are our experiences the same but this allows different people to reach those with similar experiences. It does say to go into all the world and preach the gospel. We are all commanded to do this. Some may be more endowed to do this but nevertheless we are all commanded to do this.

The kingdom is within us and yes, it is a real place that right now can only be seen with spiritual eyes and many do not see or even hear but it is real.

In the Old the spirit came down upon but did not dwell within, only after Jesus did the Holy Spirit reside within.

I am not going to go down this road again, I've been there and still was not convinced of it. Honestly, I am still not convince of this truth no matter how many times it has been explained, because no one can show me this biblically but only by what a certain denomination believes.

They HAVE already come! Verse 10 tells us that! " We are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all." "For by ONE offering he hath perfected forever them that are sanctified. "By a NEW and living way..." These things have already happened! It is FINISHED! What is left to come?

Here again you left out a very important part in your translation of scripture in verse 14. We are not yet sanctified we are being sanctified. By repentance we are forgiven.

Yes we are commanded to preach the gospel, but to those who will listen. This is why Jesus commanded the 12 to go to one house in a town give it a greeting and if Peace did not reside there, or the town did not wish to listen to leave and shake off the dust of their feet.

I believe Peter here says more perfectly of what we are to do. And yes, I do.

Let me ask you something. It ssays we will rule and reign with Christ, what will be ruling and reigning over? Yes Christ will be the KING but we will also have aithority under Him. Yes, God is our Father but that makes us sons and daughters and as part of the family if we fiollow the family rules we can expect to be treated as part of the family with rights and responsibilities thereof.

His Kingdom.

There are so many different interpretations of what that will be. I cannot say that what another believes is wrong because I am not them nor am I GOD to determin for a fact that I am right and they are wrong. This is why I must always be open to the Holy Spirit as I read the WORD of GOD, and interact with the individuals that GOD places in my path. I see HIS Kingdom more in how it is described in Ezekiel 39-48. I believe I am to be more of that described in Ezekiel 47:22.

I do not believe in symbolism, I believe in literalism.

You have to be careful who YOU reject as well. Wiping the dust off your feet just because of differences in beliefs is not the intention here. Paul talks about that to the church of Corinth. He says that the only thing that matters is that we believe in Jesus Christ, and that is what makes us brothers and sisters in the Lord. If we wiped our feet and walked away from everyone we disagreed with we would never talk to anyone!

I am still unsure of how this says that the Holy Spirit is the "law of righteousness". The Holy Spirit is the counselor and comforter, not the law. The WORD of GOD is the Law, and the law by which all of GOD's creation will be judged. It is written and enclosed within the Ark of HIS Covenant in heaven which will be revealed in the day of the Lord.

Personally, I do not reject anyone. I leave that for GOD. I never said that differences in beliefs was Jesus' intention here and not sure exactly why you think this was my intention for posting that scriptural reference.

I wasn';t answering that question here. This was for the question about where it says that the Holy Spirit was WITH us before Christ died and went to heaven, and after that the Father sent the Holy Spirit to live IN us. "...He lives with you, and WILL BE in you."

For someone who believes the Laws of the Torah to be legalistic, it just comes off odd to me that you are more concerned with the rules of this site. We did start off talking about the OP and may have gotten a little side tracked. Please forgive us. Honestly, I believe we are still on the OP purpose, "What Laws did Jesus replace?" but perhaps I am wrong?

How can talking about the Word of God be hodgepodge!? I don't feel bad about being drawn to discuss the Word of God one single bit. It excites me! I can't understand why people get upset about discussions concerning God's Word.
