This is brand new territory for me, still learning the faith....
I deeply feel that my ex had a lot of things to still work out with god, and as such, is in purgatory..
I think to enter heaven you have to be in a state of grace, correct?
Without confessing all our sins and making right with God, then most of us can end up there too.
I do sense my former husband most days of the week, and feel him all around me, and I get a sense not of contentment but of being "stuck."
I don't sense he is at peace.
I feel him looking at me and I with him, in a spiritual sense, and I feel driven to pray for him.
I am yet to understand this, but praying when I am in pain and am suffering, can help get him into heaven?
We haven't quite covered this in rcia, or I didn't get enough information to grasp what can go on here.
I am in a lot of pain, and its been a blessing, bc its driving me to go to the Lord even more than before.
He is directing all my steps.
So what kinds of prayers do I say when in pain and how do I offer up my pain and what exactly does this accomplish for my former husband?
