(Or on your tablet or phone, if you use those instead)
I need some inspiration. I want to do something more meaningful with my time on the computer. I'm getting tired of playing an online game where I lose most of the time. I'm tired of seeing nasty comments from people who love animals but hate humans, and who believe we are all evil and have no value. I haven't had much inspiration for digital art or music lately, and it's been kind of boring.
What do you most enjoy doing online?
This is an interesting topic! I can very much relate to it, as I also try to use my time on the internet more wisely than I used to, partly because I am a lot busier than I once was. (I also used to play a video game that was really cool, but really, really hard, so I don't play it anymore.)
I'm sorry you've had negative experiences on the internet. I remember a while back, I was on social media a lot, and I remember feeling like I wasn't as good as other artists on it because I didn't have as many followers. People there seemed superficial, too, and I always wanted to talk about art and other topics on a deeper level, but they didn't seem interested in it. Even though I still use Instagram and Facebook to show people my art, I try to not be on it as much. (I wish I could get more Christian followers, though...

)
Since I struggle with depression, I try to consume media on the internet that is good, uplifting, and beautiful. I know there are times when we need to face unpleasant realities, but I believe we should take a little time each day doing something uplifting, relaxing, and something that brings an inner sense of peace.
For me, I like listening to Gregorian chant/Catholic polyphany or classical composers on YouTube such as Chopin and Debussy while I draw. I like listening to kid music (since it's fun) like songs from Barbie movies (the old ones-2001-2010) or Pokemon video game soundtracks.
I'll window shop for pretty, classic clothing or go on Sanrio.com just to see cute or pretty things to inspire my art or just because it makes me happy.
I also watch funny, old sitcoms (since they usually lack distasteful content) like 'I Love Lucy' or 'The Beverley Hillbillies'. I'm a pretty tense person, so this last one is very therapeutic for me. After a good laugh, I can usually think more clearly, and I can more easily do the work that I need to do. (And the plots are so creative, they can be good inspiration for writing!)
And lastly, I'll read clean fanfiction like yours, Multifavs!

I like learning how to hone my craft through others' creativity!
I hope this helps!
