I dont know how to dance but i would like to learn. Anything but ballet, break and hip hop are ok. Are break and hip hop the same?

they're not. it's kinda hard to explain the differences in words between the two without a demonstration.

both have very different technique. breakdance is basically made up of powermoves(flares, headspins, etc) and footwork. hip hop is a broad name for various styles. it's kind of like modern dance in a vague sense but urban. there isn't one specific way to choreograph a modern dance. it's the same thing with hip hop. hope it helps...

I have been dancing since I was 2y/o . . . took tap, ballet, jazz and ballroom dancing and have been dancing all my life . . .

my 2 granddaughters are also on the Praise Dance team at their church and I love to watch them dance before the LORD!!!

I also dance hip hop and became very interesting in lyrical and will be taking both next year.However,your school like mine, may require you to do ballet in order to take lyrical since it's so dependent on ballet moves.I would find out if you can take lyrical without ballet,if you can why not change styles or add a style.It will only make you a better dancer to be exposed to more styles.
