What kind of dancing do you do?


I do hiphop! I want to do ballet though

We have a dance group at church and have danced different styles, including hip hop which I find rather challenging.
Other than that I go to ballet classes. Thankfully they are adult ballet classes and most of us haven't received previous training so we are all as good / bad as the other.

I take tap and jazz. I love them both SO much! I took hip-hop for a year, and well.. I'm way too white for that. Haha. I'd LOVE to take ballet, then eventually pointe. At first I was like "I really don't want to screw up my feet.." But I just don't care anymore.

I am with you on being too white. I am part of a Christian dance group and we did a hip hop number last year. Somehow that beat eludes me.
I understand about the feet. I don't think my feet hurt before I started dancing, but I would rather the pain than give up dancing.

I enjoy hip hop, ballroom and most recently, swing dancing. I ADORE swing dancing. I wish I were a professional at it.

I do Scottish Country dancing, as well as Contra dancing once a month. I really enjoy both of them.

Right now, I'm trying to get my brother to take ballroom dancing lessons with me.

I'm a classically trained ballerina; ballet/pointe, tap, jazz, lyrical, modern. I've danced since I was 2 and although I don't train hardcore any longer, I am still a dance teacher for ages 3-adult.

I've also recently taken up clogging.

There aren't too many styles of dance that I have not tackled at one point or another, but the ones I listed are the ones I'm most well-versed in. I prefer ballet/pointe and tap the most.

I take hip-hop,tap and jazz dance class. I did ballet in the past but I dropped it. I've been diong it for 7 years. My dance recital is coming up very soon so pray for me.
