7.Cha-Cha

I do liturgical dance with my church dance team. I Love it. Lol.

I'm just learning several different basic kinds of dancing... Waltz... etc...
But my favorites are swing dancing and country western swing!

Salsa (almost 3 years), meringue (learnt on dance floor), waltz (basic) and funk (learnt on dance floor). If I have someone to follow I can do parapara but it's not really a dance I enjoy that much.

Swing is cool.

Irish, five years then my teacher retired lol.
it is so cool how you guys have learned so many different types of dancing! I just moved so I am looking for a new studio, but I am thinking of trying latin ballroom dancing...maybe...lol

That'll be interesting. A few of my friends were taking it this year in college, but I think most of them dropped it... Mostly cuz the teacher was really too serious, I guess. It sounds like fun, but I'm not sure I'd be able to do it.

Me, too! I love Messianic dancing. David knew how to praise the Lord.
It is so good to together meet in a circle of fellow believers, all with the same voice of praise.
I have always had reservations about communal prayer. Did I really agree with what the person praying was saying for me?
But in the dance circle, it's different. It's like a circle of candles whose flame becomes a torch of light to our God.
