Forget "denomanations." Abraham was not United Methodist or General Baptist and Jesus never proclaimed any branch but Himself. Pray to God and ask Him to guide you into all truths. A sect of Christianity does not tell the truth all the time but God does. If we want to serve Him we have to stop serving the "chruch" building and start serving His purpose and His body . I hope I don't sound mean, I say this in love.

All 4one is right it dosent matter what the sign says on the front of the church as long as jesus is in the house.Thats why i consider myself non denominational,i go by the bible and will go to a church that does, know matter what the denomanation is.I have people ask me what denomanation i am and i just tell them to pick one.lol

The best you can be. I can't define it any further because it depends on your call, personality, culture, responsibilities, circumstances, gifts, abilities... etc, etc.

Here is the Catholic answer. It is possible for anyone who truly seeks God and strives to lead a good life to enter heaven. The Church teaches that she alone holds the complete Deposit of Faith and people who, through no fault of their own, do not understand this might enter heaven.

The original question mentioned Lutherans, Methodists and Catholics. All three of these faiths know Jesus to be God. All three have valid baptisms and so their faithful are "reborn". If someone dies in a state of grace then they will go to heaven. If they know that the Catholic Church holds the complete Deposit of Faith and still choose to not enter then I suppose this might affect their state of grace. This is the Catholic teaching.
