BLB, 1C 15:

20 Now Christ has been raised out from the dead, the firstfruit of those having fallen asleep.
Jesus' resurrected body was the prototype example. He appeared to the disciples in his resurrected body. He had a tactile physical body. Lk 24:

39 See my hands and my feet, that it is I myself. Touch me, and see. For a spirit does not have flesh and bones as you see that I have.
The resurrected physical body is not like a spirit or ghost.

He ate a piece of fish before them (v 43).

Some disciples initially had trouble recognizing the resurrected Jesus. His body was transformed in ways that made immediate recognition not automatic. Perhaps he looked better than before :)

The resurrected body is physical, but not exactly according to today's physics and biology. Jn 20:

19 On the evening of that day, the first day of the week, the doors being locked where the disciples were for fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood among them and said to them, “Peace be with you.”
Jesus was able to 'jump' into a closed quarter.

Elsewhere he met two disciples near Emmaus in Lk 24:

28 So they drew near to the village to which they were going. He acted as if he were going farther, 29 but they urged him strongly, saying, “Stay with us, for it is toward evening and the day is now far spent.” So he went in to stay with them. 30 When he was at table with them, he took the bread and blessed and broke it and gave it to them. 31 And their eyes were opened, and they recognized him. And he vanished from their sight.
Jesus 'jumped' out of the place and vanished.

Here is a good news, 1 John 3:

2 Beloved, we are God’s children now, and what we will be has not yet appeared; but we know that when he appears we shall be like him, because we shall see him as he is.
We will have a resurrected body like Jesus' when he returns on the last day.

Agree with all of that. Here is some more information about what our bodies will be like at that point.

1 Corinthians 15:42 So will it be with the resurrection of the dead. The body that is sown is perishable, it is raised imperishable; 43 it is sown in dishonor, it is raised in glory; it is sown in weakness, it is raised in power; 44 it is sown a natural body, it is raised a spiritual body. If there is a natural body, there is also a spiritual body. 45 So it is written: “The first man Adam became a living being”; the last Adam, a life-giving spirit. 46 The spiritual did not come first, but the natural, and after that the spiritual. 47 The first man was of the dust of the earth; the second man is of heaven. 48 As was the earthly man, so are those who are of the earth; and as is the heavenly man, so also are those who are of heaven. 49 And just as we have borne the image of the earthly man, so shall we bear the image of the heavenly man. 50 I declare to you, brothers and sisters, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God, nor does the perishable inherit the imperishable. 51 Listen, I tell you a mystery: We will not all sleep, but we will all be changed— 52 in a flash, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed. 53 For the perishable must clothe itself with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality. 54 When the perishable has been clothed with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality, then the saying that is written will come true: “Death has been swallowed up in victory.

So, Paul taught that the bodies we have now are "perishable", "sown in dishonor", "sown in weakness", "natural", "earthly" and are mortal (they die). He taught that the bodies we will have after we are "changed" at the last trumpet will be "imperishable", "raised in glory", "raised in power", "raised a spiritual body" and will be heavenly and immortal (can't die).

Based on what you've already said, it appears that our changed immortal bodies will be able to interact physically with the environment, but at the same time will be able to pass through walls and locked doors without being hindered, as evidenced by the fact that Jesus just suddenly appeared in a locked house to the disciples seemingly out of nowhere. And He just vanished before the eyes of the two disciples He talked to near Emmaus. Clearly, the bodies we will have at that point will not have the limitations that our bodies have now.

I don't know about you, but I think this is something we as Christians should think about more often. I think about it a lot. Many of us suffer a lot physically in this lifetime. It's exciting to think about no longer having to deal with sickness and pain and being able to do things that we normally associate with science fiction that we see in movies or TV shows. Basically, we will have superpowers at that point. That's amazing to think about and something to look forward to with excitement.

We will have a resurrected body like Jesus' when he returns on the last day.
Or, perhaps we need to consider that spirit beings are able to materialize physical bodies in order to be visible to men, and yes they can eat (Genesis 18:1-8) , drink, stand in fire (Daniel 3:23-26), walk through material objects, disappear and appear (Acts 12:6-11)... because they are a form of life that is not material. Psalm 104:4; Hebrews 1:7

Everything scientists can observe in the universe, from people to planets, is made of matter. Matter is defined as any substance that has mass and occupies space. But there’s more to the universe than the matter we can see. Dark matter and dark energy are mysterious substances that affect and shape the cosmos, and scientists are still trying to figure them out.

Dark Energy is a proposed form of energy that affects the universe on the largest scales.

If dark matter is 'invisible,' how do we know it exists?
Everything we see around us on a day-to-day basis is made up of "ordinary" matter, known as baryonic matter, meaning it's composed of baryons (such as protons and neutrons).

Most of these cosmic objects (as well as Earthbound objects, such as tables, cars and cats) can be seen because baryons interact with the electromagnetic force, one of the universe's four fundamental forces. When electromagnetic radiation, including visible light, falls on baryonic objects, they absorb photons and reemit them, or simply reflect them, so these objects can be seen. Even dark clouds of cosmic gas that do not shine brightly absorb photons of light at certain wavelengths, so they can be seen by their interaction with light.

Scientists know that dark matter is distinct from ordinary baryonic matter because whatever particles dark matter comprises either don't reflect, absorb or emit electromagnetic radiation or if they do interact with light, they do so incredibly weakly. This means dark matter can't be seen in traditional ways that rely on electromagnetic radiation.

The form of energy, that the heavenly ones are, can interact with physical matter, although invisible.
This higher form of intelligent life, however, can do much more, than man understands.

1 Peter 3:18
because Christ also suffered once for sins, the righteous for the unrighteous, so that He might bring you to God, having been put to death indeed in the flesh, but having been made alive in the spirit,
In that form, Jesus went and preached to the imprisoned spirits (1 Peter 3:19), and then he appeared to his followers, during a period of 40 days. Acts 1:3
How could they see him, in his spirit form?
In the same way Abraham, Lot, and others saw the angels, and touched them - Genesis 19:15-17

Jesus manifested in different human bodies, for each occasion. John 20:13-17; Luke 24:13-35; John 21:4-8
He did not appear in public looking like his former self. There was no need to, but he manifested in such a body when appearing to the disciples in the presence of doubtful Thomas (John 20:26-29).
His purpose was to give all his followers convincing evidence that he had risen.

1 Corinthians 15:44-59
44 It is sown a natural body, it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body. 45 And so it is written, “The first man Adam became a living being.” The last Adam became a life-giving spirit.
46 However, the spiritual is not first, but the natural, and afterward the spiritual. 47 The first man was of the earth, made of dust; the second Man is the Lord from heaven. 48 As was the man of dust, so also are those who are made of dust; and as is the heavenly Man, so also are those who are heavenly. 49 And as we have borne the image of the man of dust, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly Man.

The angels all have heavenly bodies, and Jesus is given a heavenly body. They are glorious bodies. Romans 6:5; 1 Corinthians 15:48, 49; 2 Corinthians 5:1-5

Something Job looked forward to, was living again after death. Job 14:12-15
However, Job did not envision heavenly life. That mystery was not revealed until some years after the arrival of the Messiah. 1 Corinthians 2:6-10; Ephesians 3:1-7; Colossians 1:25-29

In fact, faithful ones of the past, did entertain the hope of life on earth, with no pain, sickness, or death... and much more. Isaiah 33:24; Isaiah 65:17-25; Isaiah 11:6-9.
Later, God confirmed this guarantee to his servants, in his Revelation to John. Revelation 21:3-5
3 And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, “Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people. God Himself will be with them and be their God. 4 And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.”
5 Then He who sat on the throne said, “Behold, I make all things new.” And He said [a]to me, “Write, for these words are true and faithful.”

I too, look forward to this promise - the time when the inhabitants of earth will be truly blessed, at the fulfillment of the Abrahamic covenant. Genesis 22:18.
Then the prayer request we have been making since childhood, will be answered. Matthew 6:10
Living forever on earth, won't make us super human, but it will certainly make us exceedingly delighted. Psalm 37:11

The things we enjoy right here on earth, are not available in heaven.
In fact, those privileged to go to heaven, have a special work assignment there. It is not to enjoy a paradise of pleasure, as some believe - like drinking milk and eating honey. Revelation 5:9, 10

Whatever the location, whether heaven and earth, we can be sure that those living forever, will delight in serving the true and living God, for eternity... without any problems at all.
