1 Timothy 4:1 The Spirit clearly says that in later times some will abandon the faith and follow deceiving spirits and things taught by demons. 2 Such teachings come through hypocritical liars, whose consciences have been seared as with a hot iron.

When I read 'The Wars of the Jews' for the first time, my eyes were opened. The parallels with Scripture, like Matthew 24 and Luke 21, is astonishing. What a horrible time to have lived through!

Yes, it's pretty interesting. The parallels are quite apparent. If we take Luke-Acts as reflecting actual numbers of adherents to Jesus, then the numbers of Jewish believers in Jerusalem (and maybe Galilee too) prior to AD 70 appears to have been significant to the tune of thousands to low tens of thousands. After AD 70 those numbers seem to have dwindled among the local population. Hence, there was a "falling away" that was associated with a failed rebellion against Rome. During the Roman War and the period immediately following, some Pharisee Rabbis fled/escaped towards the coast at Jamnia and Christians fled/escaped toward Pella. The two camps would never meet theologically again.

In 2 Thess 2:3 reads , Let no man deceive you by any means , for that DAY shall not come , EXCEPT THERE COME A FALLING AWAY FIRST , , and that man of sin be revealed , the Son of Perdition .

What does " FALLING AWAY MEAN " ?

The Rapture = the Departure.

We'll be gone!

If it were to mean "apostasy?" Or, "falling away?"
Jesus would have returned thousands upon thousands of times since that was written.
