My album of the week is Metropolis (Scenes from a memory) by Dream Theater, one of the finest albums, by one of the finest progressive heavy metal bands out there.....adding a favorite track for the week would have to be "Turning Circles " by Judas Priest.....another fine heavy metal band......

It's only the best concept album of all time, don't hesitate just grab a copy and get worked over by the amazing storyline,if it is a wee-bit heavy start with the softer songs....."through her eyes" is heart breaking but beautiful all the same....

My album of the week this time is

X by def Leppard.....

this album caught me by surprise because it is better than I expected and it doesn't have a duff track anywhere.

It does sound a bit commercial but the songs are very good , I think it's only bettered by 'Pyromania' that is if it is bettered.;)
Some fine melodies,I listened to it continually yesterday whilst on a long 5 hours drive.......fantastic......the only negative thing is it seems too short, mus be because I enjoyed it too much:p

Great album...my appreciation of The Darkness has really grown since my brother bought it. Plus the film clip for "Love is Only a Feeling" was shot in the beautiful Blue Mountains only an hour or so from where I live here in Australia!

My album of the week: Dead Letters by The Rasmus

In The Shadows is a very good song, even though it has a hint of a dance/pop feel to it. When it was released in Australia as the first single from the album, it slowly grew on me to the point where I decided to buy the album just to see what it was like. Most of the songs are pretty much standard rock/pop, but there are some interesting sounds that make them sound fresh. They sound a bit like Finland's version of Linkin Park, but that's okay...a good album to have a listen to. :D

I am gonna have to go with Dubstar's Goodbye, unfortunatly the only album by this band to be released here in the US.....a very good example of British pop from the mid 90's, if you like Beautiful South, you will probably like Dubstar.....

My album this week has to be 'The Incomplete ' by Glenn Tilbrook

It's just such a masterpiece , I bought a couple of albums at the same time but this is by far better than 'most' artists best.

Kinda pop , kinda rock , kinda funk kinda folk, kinda Lennon and McCartney......

The tunes man , that is where it's at , the tunes. :D

Fav track.........interviewing Randy Newman

I am going to have to go with "Once In A Live Time" yet another fine Dream Theater album, there is no other kind really. Also one of the best live albums ever. Track of the week is "Feelings" by The Jelly Jam, an offshoot of Kings X and Dream Theater....good times......
