IMO the questions were highly biased to reflect modern protestantism, and sometimes rather confusing.

You scored as Roman Catholic.

You are Roman Catholic. Church tradition and ecclesial authority are hugely important, and the most important part of worship for you is mass. As the Mother of God, Mary is important in your theology, and as the communion of saints includes the living and the dead, you can also ask the saints to intercede for you.

Yes there were a couple of questions that I had to pick answers that were really not as close to what I really believe,

But considering that it is a public tool I think the questions were rather well balanced over all and I liked the 4 choices instead of I completely agree or completely disagree,,

The results did reflect pretty much my personal beliefs but I have never been to a Methosdist church,

Also the part about being Depraved, I would have preferred being called unworthy rather than being called depraved!!!^_^

You scored as Evangelical Holiness/Wesleyan.

You are an evangelical in the Wesleyan tradition. You believe that God's grace enables you to choose to believe in him, even though you yourself are totally depraved. The gift of the Holy Spirit gives you assurance of your salvation, and he also enables you to live the life of obedience to which God has called us. You are influenced heavly by John Wesley and the Methodists.

Evangelical Holiness / Wesleyan tied with Pentecostal / Charismatic -- oh, I know why -- my brand of Charismatic belief doesn't hold tongues up as a central focus; we hold a more balanced view of the gifts -- earnestly desire the spiritual gifts, especially that you might prophesy (1 Cor 13:1).

Interesting tidbits: I grew up in the UMC, and my dad became a UM pastor when I was in highschool. I read Wesley's biography while I was in highschool. My strongly Charismatic beliefs and worship style do not fit in with the EH/W church at all.

Here's what the P/C blurb says, it's more true of my beliefs than the EH/W:
You are a charismatic or pentecostal believer. You believe in the primacy of spiritual gifts and the importance of renewal of the body of Christ. You are likely to be suspicious of or even hostile to older non-charismatic churches and revival is high on your list of priorities. You are a firm believer that God's Spirit is as active today as in biblical times and you are likely to devote less time to academic study of the Bible and theology.

Odd results. I was disappointed that the Eastern Orthodox weren't even included in this quiz, and I question the quiz's results because I'm not sure to what extent I take doctrine of total depravity. I learned more about the Neo-orthodox conservative movement, however, and their moderate position on biblical inerrancy intrigues me. So the quiz was really half and half.
