If you are asking for a Biblical perspective here, than yes, such lyrics are inappropriate.

Eminems lyrics glorify and promote sin.

God bless

Not to pick on you, but I think many christians use the phrase "glorify and promote sin", when it is not really the case. A lot of Eminem's controversial songs deal with how his childhood sucked, and how he is "driven" to do the acts he raps about. How are his actions glorified or promoted?

moronic excuse for an artist?

fill me in on how you view him. i'll drop my opinion later on.
He's clearly a homosexual in denial. It's obvious. (j/k)

its obvious your still stuck in the teenage "music faze"
dont worry youll come out of it soon.

If there is anything I truely hate it's when people assume things about me or judge me. Stuck in a teenage music phase? Allow me to inform you that I listen to Frank Sinatra, Mellisa Etheridge, Tracy Chapman, Dion & The Belmonts, Stevie Wonder, Beethoven and I'll stop there. I live and breathe music. I probably know more about music then you do so please don't pull that "you're young" garbage with me. Think before you speak...

Signed,

LoL at, think before i speak.

I once "lived and breathed' music also. But as i said you will to an extent grow out of it. Or at least it would benefit you if you did. Theres no profit in listening to music. It wont raise your children. It wont feed you, or shelter you. Its ok to have a hobby or be deeply involved into one. But when you live and breath it ( as i once did, although i was younger) then its kinda silly. But each to his own.
i knew most every heavy, alternative, hard rock , bands name, members , lyrics etc etc . I knew some country music, some rap , i even owned some John williams cds lol(orchestra) had some old stuff (50/60s) I LOVE the blues (muddy waters, Keb mo , kenny wayne sheppard, Johnny lang etc) ...so i was well versed in music also. so your just one of millions who know as much and much much more about it than you. but it all amounts to a heap of poo really when it comes down to it, especially the trash like the"lyrical mastermind Skittles"....or umm i mean M&M or eminim or whatever. well now im just rambling huh. ohh well im done with this topic, take care.
( i also play piano, guitar, bass, and the kazoo! )

Once again you are putting words in my mouth. I never said listening to music would raise my children or would feed me. How about you stick to what I actually said as opposed to what you would like to think I said. You're putting up straw man arguements to hide behind the fact that you were wrong in judging me. But it's okay your ego won't allow you to apologize. That's understandable.

What? umm. how did i put words into your mouth LOL

i was simply stating a fact. Quit with the " quit judging me" thing thats getting old too. another teenage mentality thing lol, " you dont know me!! you dont ME!!!! Only God can judge me!" wooptee doo!!! (which he will someday like us all ,but thats besides the point.)

i dont like to argue with ppl really. So lets drop it, i dont liek him and you do. thats it.

Eminem has a lot of problems and his music is just a way to vent. I don't think there's anything wrong with that, it's not like he's an abusive father or ex husband. He adores his daughter and was thinking about getting remarried with his ex for his daughter. I like Eminem and think that he writes decent songs especially his most recent CD
