What is your opinion on art as a cop out in masturbation?

The argument is that the bible says nothing about art being a sin, which leads me to ask this. If one masturbates to "art" that is not real would it still be sinful or lustful?
I have read most of the verses regarding lust and adultery and not once did it include anything about unreal pictures.
So is it sin?

Just interested on hearing people's view on the matter.

God knows the real motivation in someone's heart so although a person may claim to be doing art, God knows in that persons heart that he or she was just looking for a cop out
