  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Whether using a console or a pc sensitivity is usually an option for your mouse/controller. What do you use? Super fast moving? Ultra slow? inbetween?

For me I use ultra slow. Example in Counter Strike: GO my mouse is at .5 I think. While most prefer fast so they can aim quicker, I tend to get more kills with a slower mouse because I get more precision. Although since I mainly use shotguns, sniper rifles...etc I need more precision.

I've tried using fast but I never get used to it. I feel like my controller or mouse is broke when I try it.

I haven't played many PC shooters since DooM 3, I game mainly on consoles now. I find it's easier with the sensitivity maxed out, because the analog sticks are pressure sensitive, and with practice, you can learn to move the reticule very slowly for precision. I've become an excellent shot, but my stats tend to be low anyway because I'm not so good at paying attention to my surroundings, and I end up dying in truly stupid ways... usually accidental suicides.
