What type of ministry do you feel that God has called you to do in your life? Or "WITH" your life?

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Wow, that's great GrannySmith....since I've been a member here at CF, I've really gotten more into the habit of praying not just for myself but for other people as well. It's a fulfilling feeling!
I think my ministry right now is to grow as much as I can in my faith so I can lead my daughter to know & love God. Does that make sense?

I love my main ministry
I work with the youth and it is so satisfying to me and really scary at the same time. I had a pretty chaotic childhood and working with youth and being able to care for them and to understand alot of their struggles and to be able to encourage them to live for Jesus, makes my chaotic childhood count for something good
I also pray weekly with a group of mothers. We lift up our schools, teachers, and students in prayer.
I also am involved in coordinating a community Christmas dinner for the needy in our town

Hi. fellow nurse!! I've spent my life in the operating theatre and have definitely known the Holy Spirit was present there - His presence was responsible for my becoming a Chrisitian in the first place!
But now, my ministry is definitely the flags!
I had confirmation of thatonly this weekend when I wasn't too well, so I laid out a fleece to the Lord, asking that if He wanted me to do the flags, someone who didn't normally speak to me before the meeting would come and talk to me about the flags. I was not inside the church more than five minutes when the worship leader came and asked me to use specific colours that morning for him!!!

I'm definitely feelin' the midlife thing lately....... the OP sounds like a question I keep asking myself.......
I'm in a ministry training class right now, on the worship team, doing more and more prophetic singing, and on the prophetic ministry team. I interpret dreams. I also have some desire to teach/preach -- haven't done much of that, except online.
Not sure what that all adds up to.

My ministry is through my horses and my art. Also, I am blessed with being a rural mail carrier and enjoy visiting with the elderly on my route. So I guess that is a form of ministry.

Children. My own (natural and adopted), nieces, nephews, grandson, church, Awanas. They're everywhere! And I love 'em!

My ministry would be classifed as city-reaching. I have a passion for the entire community I live in and that the whole church would take the whole Gospel to the whole city. I work to create opportunities for the churches to work together to do things they could never do alone. Part of that process is city-wide prayer meetings, etc. It's also to create opportunities for the churches to serve the community and meet needs together instead of each church doing it's own thing. A short summary would be prayer, people and projects all designed to promote Jesus Christ city-wide.

Well, I have over a decade of youth and singles ministry under my belt along with about the same amount of time on worship teams playing guitar. I also spent 5 years providing computer and networking support for churches. I like being a worker bee not a general, so I can do just about anything as long as it impacts people and/or serves those who are impacting people

My main ministry basically involves music in any area at church. But I have also enjoyed the ministry of just sitting down with women one on one, who are going through difficulties, to just listen .. and then encouraging them through scripture and prayer. It's amazing how many are just so busy doing things like being 'moms', or working 2 and 3 three jobs, or helping in children's ministries, that they don't have time to spend to fellowship with other women. To have a tear-stained face reaching out with a hug in relief to know that someone else notices .. wow.

For 20 yrs our ministry was with jungle tribal people, teaching the Word , translating, preparing teachers to open schools in their villages and also providing health care.
We now serve the Lord as pastors.

Jesus loves you!
I have a heart for teens and assist my son with our church's youth group. He's actually the leader and I'm there to help. It's less than a year old so we're still learning too but it's a good group of kids. I also help out with the children's church on Sundays. It's the elementary age kids and we have a rotation so I really only have it about every six weeks.

Mine is the youth, and a prayer warrior in the alters. I also am on the praise and worship team. We have been in transition between our old youth pastor and our new one, and so for the past 2 months I have been the leader and we have been having some awesome services. I truly love praying with and for people
