Any of the early (pre-2000s) music by Audio Adrenaline, DC Talk, Jars of Clay, or the Newsboys. There's a lot of pleasant nostalgia there. Lots of new stuff as well, both secular and Christian, but those are some good old standbys.

I'm weird. I listen to what some might call sad or angry music and it makes me happy. Likee.. anything Coldplay makes me happy. Or Linkin Park. Oh, Pink Floyd always makes me happy. Pink Floyd's High Hopes = Happiness.

Pink Floyd is my moody music. It always just chills me out. Doesn't really make me happy though.

I had the most AMAZING moment on the 27th. I was sitting on deck 7 with Alex, I had my iPod, sharing the earbuds, listening to the Wall together, staring out into the Atlantic. For some reason, it was one of those epic moments that seemed almost surreal.

Anything by U2, obviously. This may seem like an obvious choice but it's a great song to rejoice to and Bono described it as "A song about a man who loses everything but finds joy in what he still has." It's a difficult thing to do sometimes but that seems to sum up the whole Christian faith for me: losing ourselves and what we hold dear while finding joy in Christ.

I especially love the line "After the flood all the colors came out".
