I would make a poll out of this, but there's way too many browsers to put.


I use Netscape the most.

I use both Mac and PC. I have tried IE 5, Netscape, on both and Opera for Mac and Safari for Mac. Safari has been the most impressive for me. It loads quicker and it's not in your face (it's plain looking but quick). Netscape is my preference for PC.

Don't start with that again! Mozilla looks better, you can even get themes for it.

Right now I'm taking turns using several different browsers (listed in alphabetical order)

Avant - a nice IE shell that runs very much like Opera
IE6 - old faithful. It works very well for me. I have a popup stopper I downloaded for that feature.
Mozilla 1.4 - I've not used it too much yet, but it seems like a decent browser.
Opera 6.06 - I think this is my favorite Opera. I just like the way the pages load on my PC.
Opera 7.02 - It's basically the same as Opera 6.06 on my PC except the pages don't load as smoothly.

I never know what I'll try next. I think most of us are in search of the browser Holy Grail -- one that has lots of features we want, plus speed!

Mozilla, Opera, Avant, MyIE2, and many others now block popups. We popup haters have a wide variety of browsers to choose from

I use Mozilla and love it. It has so many features, especially if you get some of the add-ons. (try mozdev.org)
I went from IE to Netscape and now to Mozilla. Mozilla and Netscape are similar, but I think Mozilla is more efficient.

Right now I have Mozilla 1.4, Firebird, Opera, and of course, IE6, on my machine. Today I've used Opera 7.02 and am now using Firebird. I'm in the process of trying out Mozilla and Firebird. I like having various browsers to choose from. I agree, IE is tried and true, no matter what some people say. I've never had any trouble with it. Opera 7.02 is a little buggy on my machine, but nothing major. I don't know about Mozilla and Firebird yet as I've just begun using them a few days ago.

I switched from K-Meleon to Firebird a while back. Both are light, open-source, standards-compliant browsers. IE is a marked contrast, but I use it occasionally for those few remaining websites that use broken HTML.

Today, I'm using Opera 6.05. I've uninstalled Mozilla, Firebird, and Opera 7.02. They just don't suit me. Mozilla and Firebird are very slow on my machine; Opera 7.02 just is a bit too buggy for me. I'll see how Opera 6.05 runs. I do know the Opera 5.x and 6.x series work better for me than Opera 7.x. The 5.x and 6.x load pages better, IMO.

And no matter what anyone says, I love IE. It works for me when all the others don't. That kind of tells me something about the overall quality of the software.

I use IE. And even if I wanted to change it I would never be allowed to cause my dad would say no.

But oh well. IE works fine for me.
