Why do you combine punk and alternative into the same option? If you put all of those options together, you've made a huge genre, which at times the only similiarity it has is that they use guitars in most cases.

i am a metal head. i absolutely love metal/hard heavy rock. the fast guitars, the awesome drumming, the bass is cool too, the screaming to singing, and song writing, (i am not meaning the gore, satanic stuff. not my forte there, even though stylistically, some of them are amazing) started listening to Christian metal around 96 or 97, and just have not gone out of it, and do not plan on getting out of it. just one style of music that is too good to give up no matter how old you get, the other stuff, i can give up for awhile, and then come back to it for a change maybe a couple of days or weeks, but i always go back to metal!

i like all kind of styles, but nothing compares, or is better than metal/hard, heavy rock(to me) . God Bless! <><
