CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Game of Thrones! I watched season 1 and then bought the books and they are awesome + made me enjoy the series even more, how they adapted the show from the books to fit the screen. They made some interesting choices that deviated from the books but worked in terms of telling the story. Anyhow, now that his latest book (due out Oct. 2012) will not publish until 2014, I will be eagerly awaiting season 3!

Dexter for me, although the last couple of seasons haven't been nearly as good as the first four.
I still watch Survivor too. Loved it the first few seasons and can't turn my back on it.

I like alot of shows. My favorite right now is Parenthood. I love how it touches on so many great subject matters. I also like that the family is just like most modern day families.

Shining God's Light for a Lost World.
As far as current programs go, much of it is just plain trashy. There are, however, a few exceptions. I do enjoy The Middle, Last Man Standing, and a new comedy called Malibu Country starring Reba McEntire and Lily Tomlin. I also like America's Got Talent, a summer favorite, and Primetime: What Would You Do. Other than that (and a couple of other things here and there), I prefer older TV shows and some educational programming.
