What is your favorite book?

I have, myself, quite enjoyed reading the entirety of the books by Douglas Adams, as well as Robert Heinlein. I did, in addition, perceive Demian of Herman Hesse to be terribly wondrous.

I'd hate to burst your bubble, but S. Morgenstern is a fictional person. The Princess Bride was written by William Goldman, although he claimed that he wrote the 'good-parts version' of S. Morgenstern's 'Classic Tale of High Adventure'. Incredibly, S. Morgenstern came from the brain of William Goldman. Weird, I know. I didn't find out until after I finished the book.

I just read a revolutionary book about Christianity. The subtitle is "The Ultimate Christian Goal". The title is at the bottom after some quotes from the book. This book explains the trinity and other Christian concepts very clearly and logically.
Science and spirituality are not divorced so we should attune ourselves to them because they compliment each other.
"Many people today view science and religion as two radically different ways to understand the world, but religion and science strengthen each other's belief because they are both concerned with what is true. They were not meant to live alone in isolation, divorced from each other so tear down the barricades that divide them because faith and reason are meant to live happily together. My favorite book of all time is the Bible (yeah, sound kinda cheesy), but it never gets old, I always get something new out of it and it brings me joy

My current favorite books are Eastern Orthodox Chritianity, A Western Perspective -- by Daniel B. Clendenin (I think that's how's his name is spelled)
and The Byzantine Wars, I don't have the auther's name right now, but the book is really good is diagraphing, explaining, and showing every aspect of the wars of Byzantium.

That's my dad's favorite book as well. The movie 'Simon Birch' was based on that book. I have never read it myself, but for my dad to call it his favorite book means that it has to be great.

It's not cheesy that your favorite book is the Bible. Hey, when I was but a wee lad, I used to love reading the Bible to read about the wars between the Israelis and the Philistines, and I always looked up to David. Of course I know realize it's true meaning is, but nevertheless...

Oh and somasosa, that's a great quote from that book. It sounds interesting.

Rivers. It is an excellent book!
