What is your current Internet Connection?

Dedicated DS3 for download and Dedicated DS3 for upload.
Technically there isnt enough bandwidth on the internet for me to use.
Its nice because if somethings slow I know its not on my end.

Broadband internet is still pretty expensive in the UK. I have 3mbps down and 256kbps up on NTL. This costs me £37.99/month. That's about $71USD...

I hate you xD dialup here, live too far from the city to get DSL or Cable, and satellite is junk

Well , I tried to get DSL from earthlink, I think earthstink would be more appropriate for them but never ever got a connection once.

Their tech support are from India and they are programmed to tell you the same thing over & over.

Please do not ever try to get Earthlink DSL as they do not understand DSL. If you think I am kidding go to www.dslreports.com and read some of the horror stories there.

I will have dsl April 7th, 2005 again with SBC. 1.5mb to 3.0mb download 512kb upload.

not sure exactly what area you are in but earthlink and sbc DSL are the exact same signals/lines in Illinois/WI....earthlink just leases the signal then resells it.

I connect at 28.8 Kbs, it's slower than it should be, probably because of sLics. I live in an apartment complex.

Nope, that's generally cable; DSL can vary widely.

I'm on ADSL provided by Cincy Bell, and my upstream is 768K. I can't even imagine going back to dial-up.

Speaking of upgrades.....my isp just upped my download speed from 3mbps to 4 and my upload speed from 256kbps to 384kbps......
