I'll go first, mine would have to be blasphemy. The more flippant, the more angry I seem to get. There just is no excuse to take the Lord's name in vain. My second pet peeve would be people poking me to get my attention, bugs me doubly so when they see I am currently busy! Doesn't get me angry really, just an annoyance.

What about yours?

"Like a mosquito in a nudist camp", it's really hard to decide.

Right now, the first thing to come to mind is The Mindset of Self-Determinism.

Taking the Lord’s name in vain has been one of them. Anything to do with disrespecting one another with a “whatever” or that hand signal of dismissal “ok get out of my face” is the most annoying.

My pet peeve is lying. I do it constantly without thinking and it drives me insane. I also hate being lied to. I hate lying more than blasphemy. Although whenever I or somebody else say something blasphemous it does bother me.

Like, I have this friend on discord who I mentioned could play the white Jesus in a movie. So he's always constantly saying "I am Jesus Christ! Everybody worship me!" And stuff like that. It makes me regret saying that he looks like how the white people painted him. Jesus is definitely not white and doesn't look like that. But, I blame myself for his upcoming punishment from God. Saying you're God when you're not is a VERY serious sin.

So yeah, blasphemy would be a close second pet peeve.

The use of "grow" as a transitive verb. Many people have many more valid reasons to dislike Bill Clinton, but this one is mine, since apparently he popularized using "grow" this way in our time via a 1992 speech he gave which contained the infamous (dastardly, vile, horrendous!) phrase "grow the economy.":sick::sick:

Edit: Just in case it's not clear, I am joking. While I do hate "grow the economy" with a passion, the use of "grow" as a transitive verb dates back at least five centuries, so it's safe to say that it is here to stay, and there's nothing 'wrong' with it. That's not going to stop me from shuddering whenever I encounter it, but y'know.

Translations of the Bible which do NOT capitalize the pronouns, etc. for God. KJV is great overall, but even that translation says "he" instead of "He" for God, Jesus or Holy Spirit, for example. The NKJV gets it right. So does the Amplified Bible. Most of the others don't. I even prefer to see phrases like this: His Face, His Presence, instead of his face, his presence.

I absolutely agree.
