How did your hear Dead Poetic's new cd if it's not out till April 6th? Was it through the purevolume link? I can't wait till it comes out, it's a gonna be great!

I downloaded it early off winmx

it's good but there old stuff is better

Is it just me or does anyone else think that solidstate is going down the drain.

I mean embodyment is gone now :cries:, normajean is on there 3rd vocals, Beloved even though there my hometown buds, they have released the same ep 3 times!? And the new Haste the Day, sounds excatly like zao.

Yeah it's kind of rough looking right now, but I'm gonna say their just in a "transitional period". I'm sure they'll find some great new bands to sign and be high flying again soon. Besides with hard rock being so popular these days it's hard to find a truely good hard'n'loud band out there.

btw, Are you from NC? Cuz that's where Beloved is from, right? Just wondering cuz I love NC.

Aw, I love Raleigh too. I've got some family there, so every once in a while I get to vist there.

Nice band, you've got some good lyrics and all. Although, it's kinda sad that you don't have any live band pics, I mean u have pics of the band members, but not like the band playing a show. That's alright, it's still cool to hear about other local hardcore bands [they're the best!].
Are any of the band member's straight edge, or just hardcore? Just wondering from a couple of the pics, but I know hardcore & straight edge get inter-twined alot so.. just wondering there.

just a few of us are straight edge, and we dont have live pics.....cause we haven't played live yet...heh but we got good songs tho!

I finally got to hear Dead Poetic's new stuff, and yeah I'm sadly disappointed. Where's the flares, the creativity, the style? It's all average ..it so sad. Not what I expected from Dead Poetic.

actually I haven't live in NC for a while, so I won't get to make it to that Solid State tour stop, hopefully I get to see one of em though.
Since you haven't played a live show yet, guess that would explain why there's no pics of that. Just keep working at the songs, that way when u do play live you'll impress the whole crowd.
