What is the weirdest "Christian" doctrine you have ever personally encountered?

How about this one: "My OPINIONS are scriptural, even though I cannot back them up in the Bible. While the verses you quote that directly contradict what I believe are not scriptural, simply because I don't believe them."

Or there's this one too: "I'm right simply because you can't argue your position well enough to change my mind."

Oh that's real friendly. I just left a forum where they had a doctrine they couldn't back up with Bible verses, so they just accused the other questioning it that he was following a false teacher.

For what its worth to the drunk thing, Jesus' own words seem to verify He drank alcoholic beverages...

We can actually learn a lot about what people believe by reading their intentional mischaracterizations of people who believe differently than them. So I guess that's one good thing about this thread.

please, anyone can see i did not call Jesus a drunk, lets elevate the dea=bate. You are the one posting drunkard verses, in a broad general manner, on Jesus, paul, tim, and every other Christian,, who has a drink of wine.
