St. Paul is my hero. I became a believer because of 1 Corinthians.

My life was messy when I made this account. My son said: Why do you call yourself Messy? Why not David Luis? He's much better.

MDCS: Mid-Del Christian School (now Destiny Christian School), Del City, Oklahoma.

Wildcats: the school's nickname.

86: 1986, the year I graduated.

I started out on message boards using the name "Midnight Rider" after that old Allman Brothers song. But then started shortening it to "Midnight" which is usually always already taken anywhere. But then I changed it to "Mydnyte" as kind of a tribute to Lynyrd Skynyrd.

My first-born used to call me this when he was younger, like around age 3 or 4 (he's 10 now). The whole title was "Pirate Firefighter Queen Mommy." I have a fireman's helmet charm and a tiara charm on my mother's charm bracelet to remind me I thought adding a Jolly Roger charm would be a bit much!
