What is the standard of modesty in terms of dress code?

In the beginning, Adam and Eve were both naked, which was okay. After the Fall, Genesis 3:

7 Then the eyes of both were opened, and they knew that they were naked. And they sewed fig leaves together and made themselves loincloths.
Their patchwork wasn't good enough,

21 And the LORD God made for Adam and for his wife garments of skins and clothed them.
Concerning the Israelite priests, Exodus 28:

42 “Make linen undergarments as a covering for the body, reaching from the waist to the thigh. 43 Aaron and his sons must wear them whenever they enter the tent of meeting or approach the altar to minister in the Holy Place, so that they will not incur guilt and die.
Concerning the general Israelite population, Deuteronomy 22:

5 A woman shall not wear a man’s garment, nor shall a man put on a woman’s cloak, for whoever does these things is an abomination to the LORD your God.
Fast-forward to the NT, 1 Timothy 2:

likewise also that women should adorn themselves in respectable apparel, with modesty and self-control, not with braided hair and gold or pearls or costly attire
Note that it is not just about being modest but also about being respectable.

I can't find any detailed dress code in the Bible. I think it would depend on the local culture and standards of respectability and modesty. Generally speaking, it is immodest to dress in such a way as to bring attention to your private parts.

Can a woman in Canada wear pants?

In Canada, it is normal for both men and women to wear pants. It is okay for a woman to wear pants modestly.

Could a Christian woman wear a bikini? Wear leggings?

That depends on the local custom. In Canada, it is okay. But you need to ask yourself: Why are you wearing it? Can you justify that before Jesus? Do you have peace with it in your conscience?

You want to wear something that people would look at or notice you, not your clothing.

Then the eyes of both of them were opened, and they realized they were naked; so they sewed fig leaves together and made coverings for themselves. Genesis 3:7

This is NOT a good translation. It is actually an oxymoron. They had a needle and thread to sow with? Thread is made when you spin the fiber of the fig tree. Then you take thread and weave it into clothing. You then sow the clothing with the thread. This does cover them up for the sake of modesty but it does not keep them warm. So God showed them how to use animals to keep warm. For example they can spin and weave the wool from a sheep and keep warm. My mom use to buy us fancy clothing so we looked really good. But I was cold in the winter until I got a school jacket that was made out of wool and that kept me warm. Of course we have machines today so this is a lot quicker and easier then to do it all by hand the old fashion way before the industrial revolution.

Could a Christian woman wear a bikini?
My wife would never do that. If they cannot find a bathing suit to cover themselves up then they wear shorts and a tee shirt. I had a pastor that his daughters wore skimpy bathing suits. I talked to him about it and he talked to the wife and they decided that maybe they should be more modest and cover themselves better than that. I think it is amazing when young women go to the alter with a long dress and long hair. Paul said they cover themselves up when they pray for the sake of the angels, So your question should be: Should women cover their head when they pray? John Wesley's biggest regret was that he did not teach people to be more modest. Back then the women would even bob their hair so that it was easier to take care of.

1 Corinthians 11:10 10 That is why a wife ought to have a symbol of authority on her head, because of the angels. 10 For this reason, and because the angels are watching, a woman should wear a covering on her head to show she is under authority.

1 Peter 3 3 Your beauty should not come from outward adornment, such as braided hair or gold jewelry or fine clothes, 4 but from the inner disposition of your heart, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is precious in God’s sight.

Timothy 2:9-10, he encourages women to dress modestly, Of course solomon talks about this also.

Proverbs 7:10 Then a woman came out to meet him, with the attire of a harlot and cunning of heart.

Isaiah 3:16
Moreover the LORD saith, Because the daughters of Zion are haughty, and walk with stretched forth necks and wanton eyes, walking and mincing as they go, and making a tinkling with their feet:

While the passage is often focused on the instructions for women, Paul's instructions to men are equally important. In verse 8, Paul urges men to "lift holy hands" pray "without anger or dissension" (NIV), emphasizing the importance of a humble and peaceful attitude in worship.

The rendering of "katastole" as "restraint" instead of "apparel" or "garment" appears to make more sense in light of this verse.

8.I desire therefore the men to pray in every place, lifting up holy hands, apart from anger or dissension.

9.Likewise women also with restraint/katastole, respectable with modesty and self-control, should adorn themselves not with braided hair or gold or pearls or clothing costly.

The passage emphasising the importance of modesty and humility in worship, and the word "restraint" conveying the idea of self-control and humility, which is in line with the preceding verse about men praying without anger or dissension.

The comparison between men and women in the passage indicated by the term likewise, suggests that just as men are to approach prayer with a certain demeanor, women should also approach worship with a similar attitude of humility and modesty, avoiding excessive attention to physical appearances and instead focusing on inner beauty and spiritual adornment.
