Sure, even water can be a poison if you will drink too much.To that I answer with an old wisdom:
"All things are poison, and nothing is without poison!
Only the quantity makes that a thing is not poisonous."
If you drink a small amount of wine few times a year, your body can regenerate like Wolverine from the damage done, if you otherwise live and eat healthy, do regular fasts etc.Alcohol may also have beneficial effects.
But - let's not quarrel - let's talk about wine.
