According to Adventists, what is the second Angel's message, and who delivers it?

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

But the problem is as a former I am accused of not really having ever understood it.
Therefore I am waiting for you all to post the truth then we can discuss it. That way no one accuses me of distorting.

I'll take a shot at this Tall. The Bible says another angel delivered the second angel's message. If we look at the context for any other clues we see in verse 1 that the lamb stood on Mt Sion with the 144,000. It does not say He directed the three angels to go and deliver their messages here. In verse 13 John hears a voice from heaven telling him to write this all down so ultimately the one sending the second angel's message is God Himself.

Concerning what the message actually is. It's a declaration that Babylon is fallen. Babylon in the Bible starts out in the book of Genesis as a city of rebellion. They build a tower to escape the next flood that God promised not to ever send again. God comes down to see what they are doing and confounds their language. So Babylon represents confusion and false teaching.
The second angel's message is a declaration that false teaching and theological confusion is going to fall or is fallen. This means to me that the truth of God and the Bible will be declared to all of the world in the end of time. The second angels message comes directly on the heals of the 1st angel which is proclaiming the gospel to the whole world. So preaching the gospel undo's the confusion of Babylon and all of it's false teachings.

I know you disagree with our teachings on the three angels message. Just because you have heard of it, it doesn't mean you understand it.
I'm sure you have heard of the theory of relativity, but does it mean you understand it that you can prove it mathematically?
And I know what you think on the subject. But that's ok you have the right to your belief just as much as we do to ours.

Good question, at this point I have no idea. I will research the timing of this event though. To me , making an educated guess it would have to be after the 1260 day time given to the little horn and the bitter sweet experience of Revelation 10. What is your take on this?
