Hi everyone. I don't know what this phrase means and I think its in Latin but I'm not sure. I think the phrase means the Peace of Christ or something like that but I'm not certain. So anyway, could someone tell me what the translation is and also tell me what the appropriate response along with the translation for that is? Thanks.

Pax Christi = peace of Christ

You could respond: Et cum spiritu tuo = And with your (singular) spirit

. . . though usually that's the response to Dominus vobiscum = the Lord be with you (plural)

Ah okay thanks Carrye!

Huh, my Latin is a little rusty.

Pax, I'm pretty sure means peace.

Christi is a reference to the "New Chirsite Minstrels" so I think the translations is "folk music is peaceful"

But I could be wrong.

When in doubt, "Amen" is always a good one :)
