we live on earth

earth ad everything it is possible to learn or percieve while on earth is the evidence we are presented with.

at one point in time we have to decide if we beleive in what the followers of christianity and jesus are saying is true.

if we make the right choice before we die, we exist for eternity in (from new international bible, paraphrased): "the joy of heaven is beyond our understanding or comprehension, but the descriptions in this passage make it clear that it is not something that humans wuld want to miss" (remember this was paraphrased form a NIV study version, passage explained at the bottom of page)


for each human, life is a drop in the bucket, and its up to a mystery (fate? destiny? god?) who sees and knows what, and makes the right choice.

they say gods enemy is satan. and he is on the prowl.

well he has done a great job.

no telling ow much he controls on earht, there is a good bet that he managed to plant dinosaur bones that we would carbon date to being very very old, he also gave the buddists, eggyptians and hindus knowledge that allows them to see beyond a world of human perception and human reality, a world that sounds more like what quantom mechanics is talking about. physics must obviously be controlled by the devil too.

so why is god doing this whole experiment

i guess thats one of the mysteries that lets faithful christians keep their sense of "whimsy and wonder"

Hello friend, i sure wish the best for you! It seems like you are more making negative statements toward Christianity than asking a question. As far as what Christians say or what the Bible says.....Alot of Christians are not well enough familiar with The Bible and can at times say things that are not scriptural.....that is unfortuanate and it seems that has happened to you...as i can see alot of your info is incorrect. Hello friends, i can see how you would say that it seems like God is either......your for Me, your in!.....If your not for me.....your out! And in all reality that is the case! God is The Way, The Truth, and The Life so ofcourse if you choose any other way.....your wrong! i know this is coming across in a way that you do not like, but sometimes the truth hurts! It would be bad if God only allowed certain types of people to be invited to salvation, but God is willing to accept any and all people into His kingdom....so long as they accept the way that He has provided. Does that seem kinda one sided....Well, it depends on how you look at it.....God doesnt have to invite us at all!!! And what is it that is so difficult to accept?....He promises to give you life and guide you throughout your days! He promises that you will not need to worry anymore! He promises Eternal Life and all you have to do is repent and believe with All your heart that He paid for your sins! What's hard about that? He doesnt ask for anything that is out of the question. In fact we dont even come close to deserving His wonderful offer! But the point i was trying to make is that there is truth and there is lies.....does it make sense to think that God would accept you when He has provided The Way (Jesus) for you and in your free will decide to say you wish to believe a lie instead? He is not turning you away....you are turning Him away! I pray That you will come to know The Truth and that you will be richly blessed! amen

thank you for asking such hard questions. The point of this world is love, and love in action, not just thinking about it. I believe that is the bottom line, Real love. not just saying "I love you" all the time, and not just boyfriend-girlfriend love. Real unselfish love of others. When you give love, you get it back in deep ways that are indescribable. Sometimes it is hard at first, it does seem the christian life is often an uphill battle against our selfishness and against what is popular, but our conscience will bear witness in the end what is good and right, even when the flesh and popular culture don't.

Do you have kids, Deshadow? What I am trying to say might become more clear after you have kids and marriage, God willing. To have healthy children, really takes that sacrificial love, but it is well worth it. And we can learn to share that with others too, not just our kids and family, but that is one place we really learn it a lot.

You did good till the experiment thing.
God is not doing an experiment. He is allowing time for people to make the choice you mentioned. As you "said" that is the number one purpose we have on this earth is to make that choice.

Once the choice is made, For Him at anytime before death, once death happens the choice is made as rejection of Him.

Eternity is for His Children. This life is really great but cannot compare to what we will be doing and learning then.

God says I place before you life and death, choose.

Because He love us He also gives us the right answer.

He counsels us to choose life, so that we and our seed may live.

Look at it this way: you are ALREADY a lost sinner... thats not a real choice, now is it? But theres a way to get saved and God has provided it. The real question you want to ask is, do I want to remain lost and turn away from God, or do I believe and desire to be saved? It usually becomes clear once you realize you are already against Him, not by choice, but by birth, in sin.

First, it exist for God's good pleasure. Second, it exist because He wished to create. Third, it exist to worship God in that we produce life in our daily life through living in harmony with the way God created us to be. The whole point is that we share the creation with God as a reflection of God. Do you choose to bear the image of God or do yourself want be God causing diaster and goodness? It is God who made the creation live with our sinful passions that in the hope and promise of deliverance God would set all things right by a revelation of justice for the heirs of light and the children of darkness. Do you want to live for yourself alone? Do you want to live for just the people that gratify yourself? Or do you want to live for all of creation by the dedication of the worship of God through faith so that the hope of freedom from corruption will be revealed through the power of the Spirit that puts to death all the corruption for the everlasting life would not be put into the snare and trap of corruption.
