Many like to think the law of God has changed with the new covenant but nothing could be further from the truth. The only thing that has changed is where the law of God is placed now. It's placed in our hearts and minds according to Hebrews.

Salvation is by Grace there is no doubt about that. There are many aspects of grace that some folks don't understand. Christ came to die for our sins so we can be freed from the condemnation of sin. He never came and died so we could intentionally continue in our sins. Christ said He came to save us From sin. By His power we can become sinnless and perfect. Not by anything we have done other than taking up our cross and following Him. If you think the grace of Christ has now allowed you to do what ever you want you may need to rethink that. Obedience is a fruit of salvation not the substance of it. We are saved from our sins. We are not saved so we can continue to sin.

The only law of God that was written on stone by His very finger is the ten commandments. All of God's laws even the ceremonial laws pointed to Christ and the cross. The only laws of God that are no longer in effect are the laws that were fulfilled on the cross. None of the ten commandments were fulfilled on the cross. They are as eternal as their author.

Truth is, the Old Covenant is the ten commandments. Deu 4:13.
Truth is, God promised a new covenant not like the old covenant.Hbr 8:9, so placing the old covenant on our hearts is contrary to God's promise.

Salvation is by Grace there is no doubt about that.

Truth is, Rom 3:28Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law.

Truth is, Why should we write what condemns us on our heart?

Text teaches us, by the law, everyone is guilty, so the law only gives knowlege of sin that condemns to death. But now.... but from now on......Being made in rightstanding with God is being made known without the Law, as prophecied by the Old Testament. (New Covenant Promised, by Moses, Jeremiah, Psalms,etc.)Rom 3:19Now we know that what things soever the law saith, it saith to them who are under the law: that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God.

Rom 3:20Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law [is] the knowledge of sin.

Rom 3:21But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets;

2Cr 3:5It is not that we think we can do anything of lasting value by ourselves. Our only power and success come from God.

2Cr 3:6He is the one who has enabled us to represent his new covenant. This is a covenant, not of written laws, but of the Spirit. The old way ends in death; in the new way, the Holy Spirit gives life.

2Cr 3:7That old system of law etched in stone led to death, yet it began with such glory that the people of Israel could not bear to look at Moses' face. For his face shone with the glory of God, even though the brightness was already fading away.

2Cr 3:8Shouldn't we expect far greater glory when the Holy Spirit is giving life?

2Cr 3:9If the old covenant, which brings condemnation, was glorious, how much more glorious is the new covenant, which makes us right with God!

(Why do some teach that the Old Covenant are written on our hearts? First they have to make you believe that the law that was engraven in stone is the New Covenant. They'll talk about ceremonial laws where the bible does not devide the laws of the Old Covenant.)



2Cr 3:10In fact, that first glory was not glorious at all compared with the overwhelming glory of the new covenant.

2Cr 3:11So if the old covenant, which has been set aside, was full of glory, then the new covenant, which remains forever, has far greater glory.

2Cr 3:12Since this new covenant gives us such confidence, we can be very bold.

2Cr 3:13We are not like Moses, who put a veil over his face so the people of Israel would not see the glory fading away. (To read Ex 34 you'll know that when Moses came from God with the 10.com, is when His countenance was full with the glory of God)

2Cr 3:14But the people's minds were hardened, and even to this day whenever the old covenant is being read, a veil covers their minds so they cannot understand the truth. And this veil can be removed only by believing in Christ.

2Cr 3:15Yes, even today when they read Moses' writings, their hearts are covered with that veil, and they do not understand.

2Cr 3:16But whenever anyone turns to the Lord, then the veil is taken away.

2Cr 3:17Now, the Lord is the Spirit, and wherever the Spirit of the Lord is, he gives freedom.

2Cr 3:18And all of us have had that veil removed so that we can be mirrors that brightly reflect[fn2] the glory of the Lord. And as the Spirit of the Lord works within us, we become more and more like him and reflect his glory even more.

B.There should be no confusion about which laws Paul meant by "the ministration of death" written and engraven in stone". including the glow on Moses face when he came down from God's presence with the ten commandments "written" on the tables of stone.

The truth is simple and obvious but my Adventist friend follow a prophet and commentary that writes "the ministration of death" on their heart.

my Adventist friends continue to qoute the sabbath commandment and preach the ten commandments
